Elevate Your Salad

Sometimes I forgot how easy it is to whip up a batch of fresh salad dressing, and you can tailor it to the season's fresh flavors, or whatever you have left in your fridge. You can make it as simple or complex as you'd like.

Today I used the Orange Honey Dressing recipe from The Best of America's Test Kitchen, but all you really need is an acid, an oil, and a pinch of salt.

Whisk together olive oil, honey, white wine vinegar, orange zest and salt, then serve. This is great on a simple green salad, and would complement a salad made of roasted veggies, cold pasta, fruit and more.
