With over 10 years of dedicated service, Kassie brings an incredible array of talents and a deep passion for art to our store. She is truly a gem that shines brightly in our CAPERS family.
 
As our Art Curator, Kassie's role goes beyond simply selecting beautiful artwork for our retail space. With her artistic background, keen eye for aesthetic design, and a rich understanding of customer preferences in retail, Kassie curates a diverse collection of artwork that captivates and inspires our visitors.
 
Kassie seeks out artists that work is not only visually pleasing but also showcases exceptional craftsmanship. She explores a wide range of mediums and subjects, ensuring that our art collection appeals to a diverse audience. Kassie's dedication is evident as she plans our calendar year in advance, orchestrating the seamless rotation of talented artists every two months.
 
But Kassie's love for art doesn't stop at curating. Kassie takes great pleasure in assisting customers in finding their perfect acquisition, offering valuable insights and enriching their shopping experience. Engaging with customers and witnessing their enthusiasm for art is undoubtedly one of Kassie's favorite aspects of working at CAPERS.
 
Before joining us in West Seattle in 2013, Kassie was already a loyal CAPERS customer while residing back East. She came in whenever she was here visiting her family. When she relocated it was a given that she would join the team. Since then, CAPERS has become her second family.
 
Kassie's remarkable dedication, artistic expertise, and warm personality have made her an integral part of Capers' success story. We are truly grateful for her unwavering commitment to enriching our store's ambiance and ensuring that art remains a vibrant and cherished part of our CAPERS experience. In her words “Often, working the floor feels like 'old  home week', and I love it.”
