Anniversary Letter

We’re celebrating our Anniversary this month, and couldn’t be more grateful to the many customers/friends that have been with us since the very beginning, and those that have come into the fold over the years. Remember the small shop that you could almost touch side to side? The take out and bakery and coffee by the pound?  The obscure French and European cooking utensils–abelskiver anyone? We’ve had many iterations in all these years but the tenets of the business that we established in 1985 still hold true today:

1. Make the shop inviting and filled with an array of tasteful/interesting products
2. Get to know our customers and find the things they are looking for
3. Become part of the community by supporting non-profits and community organizations that will build our neighborhood

We thank you for all your support over the years and look forward to more “iterations” as we move forward. Who knows what that will be? Stay tuned, you’ll be the first to know.
